True marriage is the union of one man and one woman.  Legal recognition of any other form of "marriage" undermines true marriage.  Legislation that brings same sex relations to the same legal standing and protection as traditional marriages is an effort to severely weaken and devalue the marriage-based family supported by a father and mother.  Regarding civil rights discrimination, addressing sexual orientation in the same way as one’s race is illogical and unfair.
